Firmware engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of software for industry-specific applications and systems. A firmware engineer plans to improve and manage software applications from inception to use. Duties and responsibilities 
➢ Programming experience in C(C++) for an embedded programmer 
➢ Developing source code targeting the embedded system  
➢ Knowledge of ARM or equivalent embedded microcontrollers 
➢ Performing effective analysis of functional issues or performance profiling  
➢ Contribute to process improvements to ensure firmware quality and time to market ➢ Experienced with lab tools: logic analyzer, oscilloscopes, tag/ice, protocol analyzer. ➢ Familiarity and experience with modern agile software development methodologies and practice is preferred. 
➢ Hands-on firmware development and verification system failure analysis and problem-solving. 
➢ Programming skills and familiar with computer language 
➢ Analysis of the requirements, architecture definition, design, and development of  managed firmware products 

Qualifications 
➢ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is required OR 
➢ Computer engineering or electrical engineering
